They got into quite a lot of fish One landed a 23 or 24 inch Brown too....

I want to say thanks to all the guys who put their time and hard work into this event each year. You all know who you are and I really appreciate it. I was honored to be able to help out the vets and had a blast doing it. I learned a lot about my vet ed, we told hunting stories, talked about our families, sports, heard a few stories from his time in the service and got to watch him land a beaut of a fish. Made me really appreciate the guy he was. I think they all had a really good time spending the day on Elk Creek. Heres a few pics from our time on the water. Ed hooking up with his first fish on a fly rod.   Little did he know he would land a hog brown. The smile on his face made me day.   I was happier than a kid on christmas.  Made the hike back, there still smiling.  Dave deciding if fish will take an illegal nymph or a triple threat...lol 
The Lord has blessed us all today... It's just that he has been particularly good to me.

thanks to everyone that made this experience possible I had a great time guiding the VETS and i'm sure everyone else did! Vet in action  Took a while but he got this one landed. He had at least 12 hook ups.   What a way to end the weekend

What made it so special was that it was a group of CLOSE friends that guided and combined their knowledge, skill and humor to make it a go. Couldn't be prouder to have been involved and the vets were a great group of guys....simply a great day I will never forget

I'm really bummed out. Apparently, my trusty camera had a major technical malfunction, at the worst possible time. I was able to extract a couple pics of the many hook-ups my guys enjoyed. The hero shots were lost. So Sorry. By the end of the day, these men were playing fish like pros. Bruce and Dylan, Thank You. I'll always remember you guys. Dylan, Hope your camera's pics came out. Bruce, even though that one pic of you trying to hold that fish as it squirmed up your shoulder may not exist anymore, it will always exist in my mind. You're a good man. nice pics guys seems like all had a good time, wasn't able to make it up this year looks like the fish were hugry tho!!! and i'm sure the food was just as good.

goon, resize the pic by right clicking on it, open with microsoft picture manager, click properties, and make it around 500/500. if you need anymore help, just read how to post pics sticky thread.

Man ever year I say I'm gonna attend and I dont, I know. Looks like everyone had a blast. My brother -Inlaw were up sun. and I grinded out only 2 fish on 20 mile. I was on a mission to get his 1st steel on a fly. But congrates to all looks like a epic time!
