Going Up on Monday

Well one day and a wake up and off we go. Sounds like we age going to be in some fish. What colors are they hitting looking for Steelhead

    Charlie,

    This time of year with all the pressure and Kings stating to spawn, egg patterns will be your best bet, size 8 and 10.

    If you can find some fast water without too many fishing the same section, swing some bright fly's right in the fast water , very little

    weight needed as they will be just under the surface in the turbulent water, that is, if they are not pressured.

    From what I saw from the LFZ down to where ever I would pack your combat gear for Monday,I can only imagine what it's going to be as far as number of people on Columbus day.If you are fly fishing hit the UFZ,there you should find a place to cast a line.
