Raccoon Creek / Traverse Creek

Has anyone fished these streams before? I've hit on lots of smallies on the stretch just below the dam before Traverse Creek flows into Raccoon Creek.

I've yet to fish above the dam, but I've heard the fishing there is very good as well. Any tips on where to park, etc?

    There are fish in all aspects of the watershed. Do some exploring with some spinners, you will find them.

    I have fished there a few times,  I parked where Traverse flows under 30, waded up a 1/2 miles or so, and then back down to Raccoon mouth, and up from there.   Allot of smallies and some nice crappie also
