A nice walk in nice surroundings.
Gentlemen, Arrived last night, and began my "scouting today (Wed) Here's an unbiased report. Elk: Decent flow, fish are scattered and some are way up (beyond Folleys'). Da Nut: Good flow, lots of fishermen, Fewer fish than I have ever seen. Too many "Yellow ropes". 20 mile: the new "Walnut" a few fish, but no real numbers. 5 hook-ups landed 1 - 20", Brandon got shut out for the 1st time. Lots of people on 20 mile. One guy put on a seminar in drifting black marabous. Quite a few yellow ropes. Not worth the drive unless you're local. 12 mile: Feesh? What Feesh? and that says it ALL! 16 mile: a few below the dam/falls but no numbers. Very few above the falls. Go there and enjoy a ride on the swings in the park. Cascade. Didn't fish it but didn't see anybody either. I'll be checking out Elk and the Upper Nut and raccoon tomorrow.

Wandered down a mile creek this AM and had a very nice spot all to myself for almost an entire hour. Had 1 hook up and several other close calls,

I walked cascade this evening. There were 3 fish in the entire creek. 3 teens "caught" two and roped em. The 3rd is facing downstream in a shallow pool...I named him Harold.
I don't always snag fish, but when I do... I choose Little Cleos I'm the best looking smartest snagging poacher alive...

i realized that when I got there at 1pm today. i did find an abundance of fish to call my own ...just had to work for every bite. There were a few dumb ones though (the only kind i can catch) one of 'em was 9 pnd hen....  ..L.T.A.

Im curious on this as well. Someone once mentioned to me that he lives in Tennessee? I don't know for sure but it is interesting the amount of times I see him contributing to threads/reports specific to current conditions/fish numbers etc.
