12 Mile

Anyone know if the tree is still stuck in the middle of
the falls pool above route 5 on 12 mile? Thanks

I was at 12 mile, right at the falls, 2 weeks ago and it was all clear. I don't know if this tree came down in the last 2 weeks but it was clear when I was there.

This was back in March. Had a few hookups there and they went right under the tree and snapped the leader. It was laying from the middle of the falls pointing toward the tube and it took up the complete length of the hole.

Those must've been some smart steelies, they knew where to go for freedom. I wasn't there in march to see it, but unless I'm blind, I don't think that tree is there now.

Wow, I guess the tree would have been better than asphalt, Thanks for the info FMP. That is however a little upsetting, that was a great place to fish when the water was up and muddy.

I see the report. The hole may no longer be there due to the tree, but correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think the tree is there now.

PAfisher... I think the report was saying that the asphalt from the road caving in is what filled the hole in. I am going up the weekend of the 15th, it will be interesting to see what it looks like.

FMP... Do you know the condition of the tube from the road caving in?

I don't know what difference it makes, but it will allow your pic to show up

If the pic is from March. I can pretty much guarantee that, that particular tree is no longer there.

Thanks for the help... That was the second week of March of this year. Decent water flow but fish far and few in between. Too bad the water didnt stay that level year round.
