Catch one for Terry The Crip

Steel season is not even close to full tilt-boogie and we're already ****in',knockin' and cappin' each other about fly vs spinner vs pinnin' vs C&R vs eat 'em vs camo vs Orvis vs etc, etc, etc.
The next time you're on the tribs and lucky enough to latch onto some of that electric chrome, take some time and stop and think how fortunate you are to be able to accomplish what you just did. There are hundreds of folks who because of illness or physical disabilities would love to shake hands with a steelhead on a rod and reel.
Many of us knew Terry "The Crip". He was an adverisement for disabilities, but he loved steelhead fishing and because of many good men on this forum he was able to fulfill his need for steel and enjoy the excitement these fish can provide.
I don't know where I'm going w/ this thread but, enjoy what you got, smile on your brother, thank God you have two good legs to get you down into the creek and catch one for Terry "The Crip".
I will.

Yep, the stone in Skip's post was the one I mentioned in the other thread. I check it every time I go to 20 mile. Nice job, guys.

I never met Terry, sure wish I would have, but I helped skip put the stone in. After hearing skip talk about the Terry while we put the stone there you could just tell that he was someone special. He could've had a negative outlook on life but from what skip said he always had a smile on his face and nothing but positive things to say about everyone and everything no matter how bad the situation was. Like I said I sure wish I could have met Terry.

I consider myself to be a better man through the friendship I had with Terry. I don't know how many times I have thought of him since he passed away. He loved life to the max, hunting, fishing, his dogs and of course his wife Queenie and his sons. He was a special person. Never fished the tribs with him, but I cherish the memories of fishing with him on a few of the central PA streams. No matter where we fished, he always caught more than me. RIP my friend, I will never forget you.

Never did meet Terry either! But, from reading all his posts, I felt like I did. He loved his "Queenie" and Kids! He was a Hell of a Man for "keep'n on" with his disibilities.

My Wife said, if I go fish'n one more time, she'll leave me! God, I'm going to miss her!
