Monday was warm (80's) and the fish were there but no hits in the evening and most everyone around me in the Lower Fly Zone were doing nothing. Tuesday was cooler and under the Altmar Rte #52 bridge (in the Fly Zone) were at least 25 fish just holding. The action was good morning and evening in the C&R Fly Zone with a surprising good number of Steelies as well as Kings. Saw only one brown hooked and landed. They were hitting Orange Comets and black and blue stoneflys mostly, but you needed to change the type of fly often as it was not just one thing they liked. Wedneday was cooler and the fish kept coming. Using an indicator also seemed to help, especially with smaller flies. Best fish landed was a 12 pound Steel caught on a number 10 black and blue stone. Fished the schoolhouse pool Thursday and saw several large schools come thru... go get 'em!
