9-29 report
Well today is my 40th birthday so I took the day off from work but still could not leave till 10 so didnt get to the river till 11am. Went to ellis cove lot as thats my favorite on foot stretch to fish, walked down in and one of my favorite spots to swing was empty, last hole before it goes into muskrat. Started with a beautiful 10lb steelhead on the third swing, didnt land it but hit another within 30 minutes that I also did not land. I did land the 3rd fish it was a 8 or so pound jack. Had two more big kings on that I fought for 20 minutes each before turning them loose. The rest of my fish were hoes, 6 to be exact some on for a second some couple minutes. Two fish were****hooked by accident the rest were takers. Flies I used were black and pink egg sucking leechs, pink and purple flesh flies, green, rootbeer, yellow and orange, black buggers, I tossed some other stuff also but kept coming back to eggsucking leechs and black buggers.Fished untill 4, so about 5 hours and will be honest I had fish in front of me the whole time and ony 2 butt heads that kept coming down trying to move in on my spot, about 230 it poured and everyone pretty much left except me and 2 other guys. A really good day for me except for the 10 or so lost flies, thats about 30$ for you guys that dont have to buy them, Ill also report no sightings of purple and or pink panties anywhere.

Used those black egg sucking leaches up there with no luck Tuesday- not many fishes in there then either bright and could see pretty much from bank to bank. Heard it picked up in the past day or two - nice job..- mine were kinda big and on about a 6 hook and a big pink egg. When wet they were tough to throw- the eggs sucked up a lot of water and got real heavy. BTW -where did you guys leave my undies.

No package yet Slayer? Wife did insure, so good there. Reminds me- I need a new line.... 3f- good day. I would suggest ebay if you don't tie your own! Get flies from fly tyers on the cheap by the dozen!

Whitaker's prices weren't too bad if you have to buy up there. They had a few that were really working when I was out there. Anyone headed up this weekend?
