22 pt next year. 7 minutes after this pic a velvet free spike walked passed. I thought he turned around and rubbed it off for another pic. I then noticed it had some ticks on its thigh.

Once a spike, always a spike This is the first year I can remember where I haven't seen a single spike by this point of the year. This includes the cams, glassing fields, and a few evenings of spotlighting. I think the huge acorn crop and relatively mild winter around here really helped.

Not possible. AR high grades. 70% will be spikes in a few years.

Some very nice bucks there, especially since you hunt in a WMU with no deer. We checked the cams over the weekend and had 3 good bucks still on their feet during daylight hours. There was a big 9 passing through a rubline twice last week around 6pm. I know where I will be Saturday evening if the wind is right
