Fished Lake Redman again today.  Fishing was horrible and the water had an odd green tint to it.  Must have been 15-20 boats.  Talked to three or four boat and nobody did any good.  It sure was an awesome day though.  They just don't always cooperate.  LOL

Is this lake worth fishing.  I fish Lake Marburg (Codorus) often but am looking for other places in the Adams/York area.  Not fishing for anything specific......just anything that bites.

Sorry I can't help you out, but years ago I was at a sport show held at the Johnstown War Memorial arena, and at one of the taxidermy displays there was a stringer of yellow perch , very nicely done. They were well above the size that  I usually catch. I commented to the man who was in charge of the display that I thought the work done on the fish was top notch, or words to that effect. Anyway, I asked him where they were caught and he replied, lake Marburg. Like I said, that was many many years ago. I never did get around to fishing there. I wonder if it is still producing nice size perch. Hope no one thinks this is a spot burn. If so I will delete it.

How did the person who invented the first clock know what time it was?

No, Lake Marburg is a very nice State Park. It just seems to be heavily fished. We have caught some really nice size fish out of there. They have a park office that has fish mounted on the wall that were caught in the lake. Big ones. I haven't fished Lake Redman so I was asking if it's good fishing there. Thanks for the reply tho. Won't be long now and we'll be fishing from our kayaks again. Yay

If you have kayak or boat it is worth checking out. Very limited shore access. My cousin lives right by the lake. He doesn't have a boat, so passes by it to fish the river and streams in the area. There are hybrid stripers in there.
