water level

Just doing the count down for my trip watching the town hole web camera seems like the water has come up some. flow hasn't changed much just the level. anyone there and is this getting them going? it is weird that they are saying that even dsr is slow. I now color, presentation and all but if dsr is saying it is slow it must be.

    Water level in the lower river has gone up 10-15 cfs from where it has been for a week.
    While that usualy not enough to fire up a fresh run, it is enough to activate fish aready in the system.
    There used to be a bite period just before the river rose when it used to every week day.
    I as a fisherman noticed nothing but the fish seemed to feel the change coming, so it doesn't take much to change there mood.

    Hey ugly when are you going?? Looking at the ten day there are cooler temps with some precipitation coming in on thursday... yes the precip can help; BUT.... take it a little further to see what the winds are.... thursday in to sunday is a mix of west and north west winds in to the double digits..... I imagine next weekend will produce another big run.... ththe weather and wind is almost identical to the weather right before those cohoes came in last weekend...

    Headed out for Tuesday through Friday fishing. Hope they get moving but as long as there is a few around to play with that is fine. Beats working just trying to avoid a week of battle fishing later on in the season.

    Thanks Drake I will give a full report when I return maybe even a picture of the spot and the rock i'm standing on
