fish report

for some reason i can log on discussion but cant log on to leave a report, so here it is.fish this past weekend. there are a few fish in walnut but not many. landed 3 and missed a couple. very low and clear. all on single eggs. elk has a good bit of fish. landed 5 at the mouth in the channel. 1 being alittle over 9 pounds. landed 10 and missed a bunch at the log phile. all nice size fish and all on single eggs. hopefully the rain comes so the fish get up stream.

    Hmmmm, I heard rain will help them migrate. Let's hope they do.

    So far have fished the tribs twice with two other friends and eached managed limits for the smoker. Football, beer, and smoked steel....yum yum. We cannot wait to get our limits again...and again...and again...

    I was thinking about taking a day trip up to Erie to fish Elk Creek on Sat. Where would be some good places to fish on Elk and what flies would you guys recommend me to use? thanks

    I'd head up to the Mckean Hole and strip 4" florescent orange streamers....You'll Ketchum!! Its a remote quiet hole this time of year....best kept secret on Elk!

    sent akita a pm. for anyone else having this problem(i did in the past), all you have to do is log on the forums page then immediately return to the reports page and log on again here. works every time.
