Floated altmar to pineville today with a buddy, fly zone had a few rolling around, school house had some saw one cought pluging, basically floated down to the tressel before we saw anymore. There are alot in the tressel, not thousands but a good number. Pulled over and swung flies down around the bend from tressel, saw maybe 50 go bye in three hours some going up very slow allowing me many casts with my fly, not interested. My buddy flossed a beautiful coho that went on a stringer for my elderly neighbor, old people go crazy for those carp. Floated down to hole above fridgerator, that was holding some fish as was the fridg, the snag hole is pretty much gone and filled in with gravel, 1 foot deep at tops, the can was empty, as was the rest of the river to the launch. Be up again tomorrow floating with same buddy, took the rest of the week off to fish, leaves are not bad yet but it sure wont be long. FISH ON!
