Well 3 of you should have a stand up routine as a trio together.... I imagine that no 1 would show up..lol..You were referring to slayers right??? Although he is excuse this time since it's been awhile that he's use a real fly line.lmfao... don't worry about me I had got mine on friday before the deaf dumb and blind crew showed up on saturday.... now don't be tellin me that it was slow in the dslr on sunday because even my brother of all people manage to bank 2 on sunday

Was that trio comment in some way involving me? If so, what exactly did I do to offend you? I have been more than fair to you in both my posts and pms! The answer to those 2 questions will tell me a lot about you. I had made the commitment to Salmo to be there on Sun. I kept that commitment, that is what men do. Slayer who I had met once in person went out of his way making his JOB much hardrer than it had to be to come fish with us. I am proud to fish with them. They are both stand up individuals and I would fish with them anytime. As for the DSR being slow. Well none of us put on more than a bb shot and didn't fish the holes so I can't speak for those who put on a couple #5 shot and kept a perpetual in up and out rythem with there hooks in the holes. We chose to fish deeper riffles with moving fish, swinging flies. Other than the tree of us I saw only one more fish hooked all morning. Waiting for your answer!

Shot is funny stuff- On Sunday it was kinda slow up round the bottom of the 81 hole and I took all my weight off and just threw a fly into pockets and behind rocks and stuff lookin for mid water holders. NO GO.
Guys down in the 12" water were throwin muzzel balls at fishes slammin through and hooking up. Thing is that if there had been a number of fishes like some spots in DSR had I woulda hooked up on an occasional biter- dif is ya gotta have a few around to do the fly thing and have it work.
From all reports from guys who just happened to be in the right places at the right time they DID have biters around. Unfortunately this time of year somebody a hundred yards away from the action mighta had a bad day with no fishies whatsoever. Spotty.

Sunday wasn't hot; I was jus t pulling chains there ... as said he did hit 2... he was fishing tail outs of pocket water with probably 2 number 5's on a 9 weight forward...

Fallfish are in hiding, (they ain't dumb) Bass are back in da lake, Wait a couple weeks, the technique you described will work to snaggle floaters from upstream antics or you can choose to rake the upcoming leaf hatch. (this advice is brought to you free of charge based on reality)

can you or he explain to me how I misunderstood his post in which I was dragged into his response?
I let alot slide but if called out that person better be prepared to go the full 12 rounds with a heavy puncher.
I don't start fights but I will not back down either.
