another option - Ghey Bandito.... (where's the banner Slammo???)

p.s. - if DB did use that rig he would have landed the 35lb heavy-shouldered mudshark..

Yeah- heard about them. Fugger was crawling on my shoulder and I let it walk on my hand a bit. never touched the spines. I've gotten pricked by lesser venomous ones before and am careful. Those hairs can go right through the pores I think.
    Cool creature though.

I'd add the pics my wife sent me but I'd have to ban myself and look for a new place to live.

He pulled that rig out of the lower DSR not the trestle.
I took him there after we tried to find you to show him the clowns.
Notice the only pic of the tressle is through the fence on the N side abuttment.

Still on the rock unless someone picked it up. Had the pause, strip set and wow man, 4 bare hooks are better than 1?

On a side note- trying to fish and carrying a smart phone is not a good idea if you text people and tell them you're into fishes. Cast, beep beep beep, cast, beep beep beep, repeat, ad infinium,,,,

Apology accepted; but in all honesty; that looks like a rig that would be on a straight mono rig on a fly rod with a martin fly reel... not to mention any names...

next time im in my backyard i'll take a pic of the only view I ever have of the trestle when the clown crew is there... trust me its much further away than that pic through the fence...

Jokes aside that makes me sick. That tressle hole crap made me wanna get out a spear gun and reel some peeps in.
Walking up river Mon morn. some old guy told me to watch out for dec cameras down river and asked me if I ever came up during snagging legal times. Said no, he says "oh man, that was fun". F that BS I reply. He turned off the trail a few seconds later. saw him hawkeying the river for a while for fish coming up the shallows then he was gone. I hope he drowned.

thats why i fish dsr exclusively for salmon, although i dont think i take it as personally as you do

you shouldve seen the houligans that pistol pete and i encountered on saturday afternoon fishing a ways below the trestle... instead of wearing waders they shouldve been wearing a full body condom; or even better yet, they shouldve been snorkeling the bottom of the river bed with a grappling hook...

wow dude, didnt think youd grab my snag rig that i was trolling out there as quick as you did.. lol...

so i see now; when fishing with board members you actually put a fly line on instead of the mono... lol even harder...

I use both often carry 2 rods--and on the mono pretty sure I use alot less weight than 100% of the running line crew
