I'm hoping to get up for the day Thurs. Looking to find yesterdays run, and with the rain and clouds today fish from today, around Pville. Anybody gonna be around? Any info,PMs are fine, from anyone fishing the area recently?

Fever yes! But sick enough to pay to fish for salmons again this year. 20-25 in gas is about my salmon spending limit from now on. Dude remember two things. A) I quit fishing salmon and guiding in 86 when my son was born, so its a ball relearning and finding the same things work now that did then. 2)I have been out of work for 2 months with another to go and had gotten so bored it was either salmon fishing or cutting myself to see if I could still feel. Hope to bump ya later next month.

WB, I'm sidelined from any work detail until the end of OCT.. So to keep my sanity , now knowing I can fish, I just go chase anything that swims.. Be it gills, crappie or trout.. The wife has a work week in syracuse oct 24-28 and is allowing me a free ride to stay with her there.. So you know where I'll be all day Like I said, I'll be jonesin for big fish again by next week so keep in touch..

ORIGINAL: hot tuna towing the camper sucked $215.00 outta my gas tank.. darn shame - campers used to save folks money on lodging. $30 a night at Brenda's would probably have equalled the break even point.

What does it cost to just drive the truck? Might well pay to go back to tent camping the shore.

Wader I didn't see much kings, all I've been seeing is coho and the most steelhead ever for this time of year. You may want to bump up your allotment.

Thanks Head for the update but no more coin for salmon. With 3 or 4 good runs having come in I should be able to find a few mid river.

ORIGINAL: waDerboy What does it cost to just drive the truck? Might well pay to go back to tent camping the shore. To just take the truck it's 1 tank up and back = $76.00 The wife bought the rolling Motel & there is no way she is tent camping ever again.. Me I can sleep under the stars any day but she foot the bill so gotta please the woman some how. I have a Subaru wagon that is a kick azz fishing machine & cheap on gas.. I just have to put a new alternator in it (lazy). That is our winter machine, the shanty stays strapped to the roof racks from Dec till April.. Thinking this week I'll do the work and cut my gas bill in half and up my travel distances ..

No- it's the 15# plus maybe Chromer that laughed as it flew by my face on Monday. Bastages make me mad when they do that.

Had my NEW truck for 14 mos now - 36,000 miles. Really really thinkin bout some kinda little teeny car for the trips back and forth every week or two. Cept in snowy weather. Maybee even a moped.
