At the cleaning station, I talked to a guy who fished NW of Walnut in 58 FOW and did pretty well. I don't go out of there this time of year....Conny is better fishing anyway, but they are certainly still outta the "NUT".

Perch are still available out of Walnut... we did very well out of there both Saturday and Sunday.

We didn't fish the perch pack, we went a bit further east of them, so basically 5 to 6 miles NNE of the harbor, and fished from 58-63 FOW. Bite was steady and where we were we picked up twice as many 9-12 inch fish as we did 6-8 inch fish. a handful of 13s thrown in.
Bonus of an 18" smallmouth and a 29" catfish also.

Agree with Fisherlady, perch were easy pickin's on Sunday, they even seemed to be biting better in the rougher water in the morning. Anywhere from 58 to 70 feet, and several miles wide, we marked a ton more after we limited out and started to troll...

We were straight out of Walnut and marked them way west of there too..
