Confluence trip

Drove down to Confluence on Sat did well with the smallmouths in the lower part of the Cassleman in Confluence. Took a drive upstream to Harnedsville fished under the 523 bridge to about 1/2 mile downstream NOTHING not a hit on the Heddon tiny torpedo, live bait, nothing. Anyone else know this area? I am not asking for information on where to fish I have found all my spots by trial and error and prefer it that way. The water looked just great; pools, ripples, slow water, fast water, but I did not see any smaller fish no suckers, chubs, no crayfish, did something happen to the river? I did want to get back down next weekend and try some spots I didn't have time for this weekend. Any info on what might be going on with the Cassleman would be appreciated if not thanks for reading.

I've fished the Casselman a handful of times this year, and had a successful time with the exception of one trip. I did not notice any water quality or lack of fish. That being said, I fished farther upriver than you, so I can't speak for the area around confluence.
