New Water

Made the 2 hour drive to some new water this morning.

What a beautiful day to be out.
Chilly(41`) in the morning and just a hint of color on the trees. You can feel the fall in the air.

Only managed 1 trout to hand, missed 3 more with one being a big Brownie that came clean out of the water chasing my rising streamer.

Sure was a treat using the 7'6" Albright and some smaller offerings. Didn't have a hint of casting elbow today.
Big rod with the big streamers on the river has been beating up my casting arm.

Couple pics.

Never seen a Shroom like this one before.

Had to be one of the largest Blue Heron I have ever seen..

Man was this litle guy aggresive.

This dude followed me around all day.

I've heard about that guy following you.

Legend has it he never sleeps...with his wide-brimmed hat and a tightly-clenched stogie, he stalks the waters of Northwestern PA morning, noon, and night in an endless pursuit of Das Troot.
