Piney Dam Tailwaters

Has anyone fished below Piney Dam? Looking for any help you can give.

    Haven't fished it in many many years, but be careful to watch for releases from the dam, the water rises quickly...

    The water seems to be released daily. Is there a set time?

    Probably, you might check their web site or call the dam to see if they have a schedule. They used to sound a horn. It's been probably 35 years since I fished down there, don't remember catching anything special...

    They have no set generation scedule if ya call youll be told that.
