any HO yet

    Have been up many times this time of year and as usual its kinda hit or miss- mostly miss unless ya put on miles of River till ya find one or two. IF- IF
Yes the reports of Tressel and big pools have the usual snaggers blind casting and belly hooking the poor fish who came in early and have 'pooled up' but even the DSR has reported poor showings for days now. Kinda normal.
All of a sudden it will pop up and there will be fish coming in more or less daily in varying numbers.
  Personally if I only had a coupla trips a season I'd wait till there were a number of those days recorded so fish will be spread throughout the river.         
      That should also spread the fishermen out a bit and give a guy a chance to find a spot for himself- more or less.
   For a lot of us we really dont care and catching is secondary to fishing and we have the opportunity to get up a lot- dont confuse that with the coupla trips a year folks who generally have to have a different attitude if they really wanna see and catch fishes.
  Think bout it- If a thousand fish push comes in down low today (and all the reports go nutso) -you might not see them upriver or even mid river for several days---Hos and Steel run faster but then they seem to come in with any regularity a slight bit later too.

At least one boat guy has then porpoising off the mouth but not comin into the Estuary yet--too warm?
  Perhaps- but their body clocks gotta be ticking.
  Could understand Steel waiting-even Hos- but then they will follow the Kings for the eggs. -sooo think the longer we wait the more likely it may be a mix comin in.
  Used to see some nice mixed runs down in DSR in very late Sept into Oct when everything but Tarpon come at once.

It will happen tomorrow dime, I feel real strong on that one. With that strong front coming in and a few fish coming in this morning,(scouts?), I would be there soon. Man this is killing me.member
