Just talked to the office,the road to the beach & the boat launch, are both closed,at least for the week end due to high water. Didn't ask about the out-flow but would think it is closed also. sam

Sayin its only 710 cfs at outflow, i hope they didnt close it. But i guess ya never know at the flood control lakes

has anyone been doing good there this year at the outflow? last year I went once. I caught a 19 inch crappie, 30 inch northern and 30 some inch channel? I was thinking of heading down this weekend

A 19 inch crappie would be close to the state record which is 19 1/4. Did you take it and see how close it was to the state record? I would like to see pics of it if you have any.

ya 12 posts in 5 years nice input. im working on getting a pic. unless my mind is failing me it was **** big, it hit a 5 inch chub and at first i thought it was a big largemouth but it could be 15 or 17 but i remember the guy that took the pic saying that thing could be 20 plus, i was just dam excited

Caught a ton of smaller crappie and a few in the 10-12" range and 1 that was 14"... As for smallies i've caught around 10 or so there mostly using chubs/fatheads all in the 10-15" range and one that was atleast 17" or so. A few scum fish (drum/carp) about 5-10 small walleyes and about 10-15 cats... Atleast 1/2 of the cats were over 15" all the big ones were at night... I may be out there this saturday but depends on if the outflow is under 200CFS anything above kinda sucks and lowers the catch rate imo...

a 19 in crappie that coulda been 15 or 17 but it might of been over 20??????? workin on gettin a pic of a fish you caught last year ROFLMFAO..... i cant take it anymore. i once caught a 72 inch muskie but it might of been 30 or 40...

ya cant find it and it wasnt taken on my phone. believe me i talked to the guy he said he would say pushing 19 when i told him but i mean i dont really care i aint ever seen you actually posting good info. and mags pm if you'd wanna meet up cause i may be headed down by myself,

seriously tho that 72 inch musky i talked to a guy that said it was pushin 80 inches so im gna see what i can do about gettin a pic i caught it in 2003 but i should be able to come up with a pic somewhere

Did you catch that 72 incher in crooked creek. I caught an 80 incher last year and I got a pic of it and it also had a 19 inch crappie hanging out of it's gill. I'll be there tomorrow fishen for 10-15 inch crappies.
