Had some time yesterday so I decided to make my winter boo collection. They are a tad fuller a tad bigger and done up in winter colors.

Upclose. Enjoy.

I did this one up for fishing the mud in big flows. Worked so well I took its general construction and spawned up the winter series. The color combo is based on the wht winged Akroyd. Something about the color combo here that is picking up fish behind other proven flies. Got a winner here.

This one has winter winner all over it. Wht and pnk with an org hot spot. This fly glows from the inside out. I have no doubt that this will get the cold fish going.

Here is the final one. Colors inspired by the Winters Hope. I never fished much purple but I finally found one that the fish and myself like. The pnk target is whats going to make this one special in my opinion.

KJ - love it! Tinsel wraps in the rear and the front are great!!!! Great head also!!! Even the hook looks a bit polished! Beautiful.

Nice ties fellas.

One thing I noticed on you guys flies and a lesson I learned the hard way.
When I was selecting some ostrich herl to tie in I didn't pay attention to the ends of the herl.
I ended up with a couple of really blocky looking flies cause the herl didn't taper to a point.

KJ this is a great looking "low water style" pattern and an example of a very nicely tied fly

Had a mini tying night. It's weird how the music that you are listening to influences how you tie. This first set was fueled by Straub and the devil makes three

Changed the tunes to Rev Theory and ran out of Straub. This guy came out

That was a night

SH- Nice roll top bench, nice ties, and nice selection of ale.

Nick Granato's Sasquatch made a little smaller and slimmer, with a stinger, for the swing.
