heard from a very reliable source that there is about 7 foot of reservoir before its flood gates time... otherwise, we are now only about 2 feet below the norm for this year... i think mid to end of september is going to be ferocious since the water was held up this past labor day... large fish and plenty of them are gonna be on their way sooner than later... fish on...

Well I just got back from my monthly Union meeting and realized how hard we got hit last night by rain.. The Kinderhook is well above flood stage again and headed to the roads.. Glad I live UP o the hill. It's still raining pretty good with the heavy stuff overnight still to come but I don't watch tv or radio much to really know.. I just heard some chatter about this Big storm called Lee ..

I think the sr is still in very good shape judging from the flows and low res.
Hoping the MOTHER load comes in Thurs

Im thinking they bumped the water to 750 as a precaution; but once they saw it wasn't gonna hit them hard they backed it down... just my thoughts... for my area, we got 4 inches on tuesday; Intermittent showers yesterday and terrential down pours last night... I think in the past month and a half we have gotten well over 20 inches... the month of august set an all time record in the state of new jersey for the most rain fall in one month... crazy stuff...

For anyone that travels north on 81 today or soon there after be advised that paets were closed because of mud slides and they are now evacuating Willkes Barre and area because the river is going to RECORD levels.
I keep looking at the radar and the HEAVY rain just keeps streaming up to that area just west of the Lehigh Valley where I live,we are flooding but not as bad as those areas to the west and north of us.
This is going to be a very difficult time for a lot of people for the foreseeable future.
I live on high ground with no chance of any type of flooding, but my little stream way below my house is a raging river now.

Not so good down here Bing'ton, Athens, and Sayre. The river is supposed to crest at 26.9, the dike is 26.

    Phifft.
A light drizzle at best in Pulaski.
Seems to keep staying south and east.
The tug could use a real deluge.

I'm 100 miles west and a bit south of the SR.
Steady with brief periods of heavy rain.

    I don't think I even got a drop yet....

Altmar weather is supposed to be steady rain til afternoon with no sun at all today.... what catches my eye even more is the 15 mph NW wind for the next 48 hours... overnight lows changed from mid 30's to low 40's. time will tell... im leaving in a few hours. I will give an update in the late afternoon..
