baby laker.......

Wednesday night while trolling for eyes (it was more like a clinic, ha!) out front of bula we caught a 12" lake trout. This is a first for me. The only lakers I normally catch are the monsters of the deep in north east. We caught the little guy on a chartruse harness behind a black dipsy. I was sure to release him as soon as possible. Hopefully he doesn't fall victim to a lamprey.
So my question is, does anyone know if ohio, pa, or ny stock lake trout fingerlings or do you think the lakers are successfully breading? I know they used to stock them in pa, but I though they stopped that several years ago.

We're strictly perchers but the wife caught what I ID'd as a Lake Trout last week off the lighthouse.

I found a reference to a stocking program in the Post-Gazette while researching.
