Labor Day water releae now cancelled due to low levels in the res!!
Due to circumstances beyond the company's control, the next scheduled Whitewater release is cancelled.

No biggy; I've seen them come in lower water; and there ARE currently fish entering daily anyway... my only concern is a few weeks from now when crowds come while water is still low with lots of fish... yikes.... this weekend will be fun anyway; hopefully crowds will be light due to the water level... plenty of nails to bang and cans to  crush regardless

What's funny about thiswhole situation Is probably 90% of rivers and areas got crazy rain and floods in the nor east and new england... if tug hill got what most got; there would've of been who knows how many thousands of cfs.... so its good it didn't take the brunt; but that dry halo that has been keeping the tug hill dry is pretty unbelievable... kinda unique in a way if you really think about it  .........

I might take a ride uover on Fri. More to look around at the changes since the most recent flood till my old legs give out.
I'll carry a rod but will I cast it?
Maybe just to get the feeling.
Still numbness in my right thumb so I'm not sure how tight I'm holding things.
Made carnitas today and was a knife dropping fool.
Mex yellow rice and pico de gallo.

Well ya know what today is right ??
I cancelled my trip a month ago.. I just knew barclay was behind all this low water.. shame on them for keeping all the fish in the pay to play area .. LOL !!!!

Hey slayer, ya think dsr would have a heart and shut down to stop the early slaughter like 07 or will they once again post "Sold Out" ? Just kiddin around guys , I worked my azz off down there in 07 and it was just silly to say the least, glad I had a season pass then for sure.. But If you really need a Posse slayer, " If I can spot em' I can "hook" em' " which shouldnt be too hard in skinny water.. I'm in !!

Well in 07 DSR didn't have tail of the Black to Little Black---if They can keep the goons out the fish MAY make it to the Case ;)---FYI--I prefer NOT to snag--but hey--a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do--to save the fishery of course.

Yeah- these are the 07 save the fishery snag fest at the bert dam eggs. And to think, we coulda had bigger Trouts this year and less Kings.

I must say, the dec did it's part, in part, by keeping the lfz closed.. Hum.. maybe if enough fish made it that far it would have made a difference ? But seriously now. We are talking way ahead of ourselves here.. It's just a little saving water for later going on , nothing new, nothing drastic.. Maybe a few hot fishermen but.. Heck it's still Aug...... Till midnight tomorrow anyway..

one good note, Dirty Burt fish have developed thicker skulls via the evolutionary process and are much more resiliant to lead bombs... Can't wait to see pics of the low water heros swiping away at the exposed backs of the "biters".... carry on

Hey tuna; in 07 there were piles and piles of coho that made it to the lfz.... it was quite a sight not only to see the fish; but all of the anglers mouths watering at the sight of all of the spawning hoes...
Its definitley early to predict; but I did hear it was 6 feet below level; also it is losing a few cfs every day at this point... its not looking good...

How about giving us some Pictures then.. From what I have been seeing, pictures of fish are being caught in da river.. The little increase to 335 only helps so you should find something down low lets just see them pictures of you holding a Fat King or Coho.. Heck a dimebrite chromer would be nice too man.  It's pretty much on now from here on out with what I'd call fishable reason & numbers.. Heck it's still aug.. lol..  Good luck to all you lucky folks going trib fishing for lake run giants
