I'll sight every darn one if I can.. lol.. If one can't see fish moving up to hold in one of those small pockets to give you a few casts then on to the next pocket with out spooking them. Then one of 2 things.: 1: get glasses 2: your standing where you should be fishing, take the weight off,learn to back cast & mend

Just my tip rather then hovering over them in heavy water where they can't see you..
this water is plenty deep enough at 335 (here) for them to move,hold and feel comfortable in the pocket if you know their migratory route

Yes plenty of water in that flat there especially for transitioning steel.... but; I found the opposite side of that gravel bar/island hosts more migratory slots and more fish salmon and trout that is... and im not referring to the white water; moreso the calm water at the middle of the island and above....

ive got a 6' #5 bamboo, and an old fiberglass sage that was hand tied by my brother in an 8' #5... maybe i'll bring both...
