Wounded Warriors Gifts

Well its official...... Each of the 8 Soldiers attending the One Fly in October will receive a gift from Me and a couple other rod builders on here ....

In conjunction with the Project Healing Waters and Batson Enterprises they will each have a Custom 9' 8 WT Rod to keep as a token of appreciation for the sacrifices they have made..

Mark DeFrank of DeFrank Flies will be donating flies and boxes for each hero

There are some other things in the works and I will post as soon as I hear

To Skip and all the other rod builders out there A sincere THANK YOU! I'm also re-doing an antique rod for the top fisherman among the vets. The rod was donated by one of the board members and when he says so I will identify him. But he will be presenting it at the event.

Skip, Just thought I'd check in one last time before we fly in and we're out of touch for a week...... and while I'm waiting for my son to wake up. 6am here. Anyway - I will be giving each of the veterans a plaque with a tied classic pattern on it. I'm working on the wood and turning, sanding them down. I'll be working on them when I get back. Once again - cannot wait for this event .... it'll be very special!!! Thanks for all your doing.

Thats great! I just hung up from talking to Ray Markeiwicz of PHW and all looks good.
He will be putting the event on their web calender in the next few days.
They should have enough waders for the vets.
