Good trip with Northern Sky Charters

Just thought I'd put up a report about a trip I took this past week with Northern Sky Charters out of Snug Harbor. 6 of us went and caught our limit, totaled about 200 lbs. of walleye. Had a blast. Captain Corky and his mate Kenny do a great job, they always put us on the fish.
I will say that the Snug Harbor Bait Shop is sort of creepy.

    Ha! Corky does a fantastic job. He's helpful on the VHF at times as well. Goes by "Walleye Whacker" 30' Cherokee. Can't go wrong if you're able to book him. Congrats on a good trip!

    Glad to hear you had a good trip! Congrats on the good haul and enjoy the fish fry to come!

    I do have a couple pics, but I'll have to get them from my brother. We really don't have a hard time booking them, then again, we do give him repeat business.

    The first time we went with them, we were left the dock, fished, and were back at the dock in 3 hours with a 6 person limit. AMAZING! There was no point in the trip when we even actually got all the rods set up!

    I've been eating walleye for days.

    Fantastic trip Doc. He deserves repeat buisness. Are you guys setting lines too? That's half the fun of going on charters, to me. I've learned quite a bit from the captains i've fished with. If i had a boat big enough for that lake, i might be able to get pretty good at it.

    Yeah, he's let's us pretty much do whatever we want. I'm sure he knows what groups know what they are doing or not. He does an excellent job putting us where we want to be. I've learned a lot from him and Kenny. And he certainly comes in handy providing the boat to get out there! I don't think my 15 footer would cut it!
