Just checked jack; im right between the 80-100 mph winds.... the town next to me will definitely flood... in the past 12 years they have flooded atleast 8 times... when it first happened with floyd they said it was a 100 year flood... I guess it wasn't since it happens almost every year now... I guess " the times they are a chain-gin"

It looks like the eastern edge of lake ontario and the entire tug hill region is in its path as well... we'll have to see about that though; things can change.... regardless; im hearing there is enough water in the upper reservoir for labor day release and 375 base flows anyway.... also there are some severe storms predicted to come through the region in the next 24 hours as well... we are by no means having a water crisis up there at this point....

Are you referring to garrett mountain in west paterson metal???? Are we from the same neck of the woods??? Lmfao....

I was actually in new brunswick that day and was stranded on my rutgers campus. I did manage to get out of town a day or two later with my brother and we shot up to hit a decent early run in the lower dsr...
it took us about 2 hrs to get out of new brunswichk though... the raritan river and its north branch were swelled up on to rt. 18 and other roads north of there....

Hey rt; why are you cancelling; it probably wont be that bad

Man, that cut me deep. I hates the cold!

I hope to see this thing up close. I love a good hurricane blowing through. I like the cool clouds and the rain that comes with it.

Last I heard the res. were still at least 6 feet low. Bring it on. I want them to hold some water back then make a few kw's when I come up in Sept....
