Another Weekend in Paradise

We decided for our anniversary this year, we were going to take a mini family vacation. So we left for Slippery Rock Friday afternoon. We arrived around 7:30 and cooked some dinner and just enjoyed the peaceful sounds around us.

Saturday morning, Jokerball and Rippinlips got up and did a little fishing, while Mrs Rippinlips, Jokerbelle and I enjoyed the nice weather. The guys didn't have much luck, but had a nice peaceful morning at some local ponds. We had some lunch, then the boys went back out for a peaceful canoe ride.

Sunday they took the baby and me along for a nice quite afternoon on 100 acres of land with a private stream to enjoy ourselves on. The guys fished up and down the creek most the day, while Jokerbelle and I took a hike with our new 4 wheel drive buggy. It was so sticky hot, that we swam in the creek for a while, and took a nap.

    looks like a great weekend vic, kevin is a great host! maybe he'll open up a campground with all the property he owns and has excess to along the creek

    Kevin is a great host. We just love going there. And of course Autumn couldn't be a happier baby while we are there.
