Canonsburgh outflow

I have been fishing the canonsburgh lake outflow alot recently for smallmouth and largemouth, and have only caught a couple. I know they are there, I see them everywhere. I caught 3 on a curly tail jig a little bit downstream, and 2 on a hula popper fished right against the outflow wall. Any lure reccomendations?

get yourself some decent sized shinners and go to the bottom of the fall where the water comes over.  put a boobber on and cast up the wall so the bait comes down with the water i have always had success doing this

REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN YOUR FIRST BIG ONE WAS. TAKE A KID FISHING

In the past, I used to take a few worms to catch the smaller bluegills/rockbass under the rocks in the middle then toss them out toward the dam. Sometimes on a bobber sometimes just the fish.  Caught tons of bass and a few musky's. Biggest bass a little over 7#, musky 44"
If bait isn't your thing, any shallow diving crankbait thrown in the white water used to work great.

Wait, you are telling us that you caught a 44" tiger musky where the dam comes off the lake? How is that fish surviving below the dam? I am shocked. I know they have been stocking tiger musky there for years, but I never knew anyone to catch them.

Notice his use of past. They used to stock tiger muskies(last stocking was in 2002). I wouldn't doubt that there could be 1 or 2 still lurking around and I've heard rumors of people seeing 1 down there but haven't heard of one being caught recently.
