BlueCrapPERCH!

Had a wonderful afternoon out on Erie Mako today! Fisherlady and ErieMako invited Jokerball and I out on the boat for an afternoon walleye/perch trip today, so we found a babysitter and headed on out. Well today was our lucky day. We started for eyes, and we didn't succeed, so we decided to anchor and try for some perch. And boy was that a great idea! It was non-stop. Some of us caught really nice jumbos, along with doubles, and one triple today. ErieMako had to out do us all and catch the hog for the day, a 13" perch. We had a blast, and can't wait to do it again. Thank you again, ErieMako and Fisherlady.

    It was a great day... and can't wait to do it again!!

    Fishing was good, but the company and 'after fishing' was even better!!

    Glad we marked our spot so we can go back...

    How did you mark the spot, by putting an "X" on the side of the boat where you were catching them?

    I'm heading out in the morning. Does Mindy know how to PM any starting locations for perch yet? Last couple times out perchin, we havent done very well.

    Sorry, we left for camp early Friday and just got back... Mindy would have been glad to help if she'd known... though she does have trouble typing on a keyboard yet, her paws tend to hit 3 or 4 keys at a time
