Presque Isle from shore

Some buddies and I are heading up to Erie for the weekend with no boat and want to do some fishing.  Can anyone fill me in on some spots to fish from shore and what we can expect to catch.  Feel free to PM me if you don't want to spot burn.

Thanks.

    I'd love to help....but I'm a fly snob.

I don't always snag fish, but when I do...
    I choose Little Cleos

north pier will put you on fish. the north pier is the channel between the bay and lake. the coast gaurd station is also there.crawlers and shiners and you will catch fish.

Just spent 3 days at North Pier...got virtually nothing...saw the odd bass caught. Forget it on bright sunny days in mid summer....just a personal observation...

Have done well there at other times though...
