This morning I had this odd looking doe approach to about 15 yards away ... not sure what is wrong with her right ear but it sure is funny looking ==== I have never spotted this girl around here before either ?????

I could not really tell if it may have come from a bullet or arrow.. looked more like it just grew deformed ???
Maybe I'll see her again ??
I set up the trial camera a couple hundred yards away on a trail looking for some pictures over the next couple days..

When I lookmore closely at the pic, I see a deer with its ribs sticking out. Probably starved to death since we still need additional herd reduction in that WMU. Didn't they increase the doe allocations there?  ..WF

I sure hope DD was right about no union. I haven't been to a meeting yet and don't want to have to go back to being one of "the good guys" which would have to happen if there was a union... Unless Spoony can explain how the union will save all the goons and thugs from being exploited.

If you were both a member of the Thug and Goon Society AND the Ubersnob Flyfishing Association, then you would already know what happened to that poor deer's ear. But since you seem to be having some difficulty, bumped your head on a bowling or crystal ball or something, I'll help a brother out.... Members of the UFA were experimenting with a super secret new steelhead fly, one on which you expect to catch fish, not hope to. It is a amalgamation of two fairly common flies, the deer hair bug and the golden ribbed hare's ear. But since Erie flyfishing isn't real flyfishing (much like trolling isn't real fishing because it is just driving a boat around with lures in the water), this couldn't be a real fly, but rather an inverse, completion backwards type of concoction. So the carefully guarded recipe, only obtainable by those that know the UFA handshake and can spew forth at least one complete chapter of "Trout" (the book, not the PGC mouthpiece), calls for some rather offbeat tying materials. Among those are a the exoskeleton of a bug off a hare and the hair off a deer's ear. The UFA hired the T&GS to secure the later and the deer in the photo shows the results of that material harvest. Trust me, you don't want to see the results of the action that included the hare. Any other questions, please bring them up at the next meeting. Of either professional association. Or both. Or not.
