Trout On Hold ?

Things are starting to warm up and while the stream temps are still ok.. I needed a break from the long rod .. I still love sea food - fresh or salt so with the 4th upcoming I headed to the salt.. Great times with good friends.. Just a few pic's ;)

Where it all begins..

All food (except beans) harvested by hand .. Surf & Turf :)

The Catch ..

Yea those big quahogs are for chowder but there are a mess of littlenecks & cherrystones for grillin or steamers.. Man they are great.. That 52 qt cooler is FULL by the way;)

It is a long ways from the high peaks of ADK's & brookies but what a way to relax, have fun and get FAT !!
I tend to move with the seasons and not focus on 1 thing.. There are plenty of outdoor activities to keep me busy !!

HT, I had the pleasure of opening for Mr. Kaukonen at a club in NJ called the Stanhope House. I play acoustic fingerstyle blues and Jorma was playing solo. He's been one of my favorites for years. It was quite awhile ago and I was a local. One of the best gigs of my life. Jorma, Jack and Papa are hard to beat.  Them clams sure look tasty.

Myself .. The end of an era for me playing out (10 years ago) was a duo we had.. Fingerpick guitar & harp was my buddy / Guitar & Uñas rattle myself..

Hehe , another thread derailed! I probably saved the lives of countless innocent clams....
I'll bring a mando, at worst, it'll start a campfire. I'm chasing brookies via backpacking a float tube into the wilderness in Vt. this weekend. I'm just full of dumb ideas.
I'll probably lose 5 lbs. in sweat and blood (to the skeeters). Staying home with clams sounds pretty **** good.  Sorry for the hijack.

Most guys I know go fishing so they don't have to stay at home with the clam.
