TUBMILL UPDATE

Trout season was great this year on Tubmill Run. With all the trout stockings (5), mid April then finishing on Memorial Day, we had an excellent Kids Day May 14 & 15. Since then we have been busy with stream improvement. Small tribs have been adding tons of silt to Tubmill. The master plan has these problem areas being fixed where we are permitted to make such improvements with additional projects in the main stream. This has been the 11th project 3 road drainage improvements, 5 stream improvements and 3 pasture fencing projects. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy and Pa. Fish & Boat Comm. must be commended for hours of work performed. The vast majority of the work in fact. We are now on the verge of receiving, hopefully subsantial support from some serious dollar donors. We anxiously await this news !
