Go-To Lure/Bait

Just curious what everybody's go to lure/bait is when nothing seems to be working. Mine is a 1/8-1/4 ounce white rooster tail spinner. I've caught many bass/trout off this. Always seems to produce when nothing else is.

    Chartreuse Slimer on a jighead.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The closer we adhere to the Holy Bible and the US Constitution (as it was written) the closer we get to the model that made America great. The great American experiment worked, human nature just got in the way.

i also am a big fan of white rooster tails, black ones also work well. you can catch anything on a rooster tail from panfish, bass, trout, pike, you name it.

4 or 5 bb shot spread out does the trick...

caught a ton of trout and smallmouth on them sunday on the yough....

i use a 8' flyrod with a spinning reel for trout and maybe the tip angle up higher helps not certain....

Ya they have nice flash. I should try that out. I dont normally like to put split shot on cause it often comes down to the blood knot and screws up my line.
My advice: look for a C.P swing #1. Didnt use them til this year but the day I caught 40 plus on it I became sold. My science teacher told me about them theyre hard to find and made in France. Good luck
