The results will surely put more kids in front of video games this summer. What a shame there is no funding from the PFBC. The PGC has been raking in millions if not billions from gas and timber sales. Why can't Pa have a "combined" fish and game agency and combine the monies for projects that need immediate attention (like our dams) rather than spending money on song birds?

Nearly every state that combined their Fish and Game departments would rather see them back to the way they were pre combination. This is coming from both the wardens and residents. Also the Game Commission is no where near Billions in revenue from gas and timber sales. If they were, there would be ALOT more wardens instead of less and less wardens every year. Just look at the size of the districts now compared to 10 or 15 years ago.

I do agree that it is a shame to see these waters closing. We need MORE opportunities for kids to get involved in the outdoors, not less. Especially waters like this that are close enough to urban areas where kids need all the help they can get. I just dont feel that combining the two is the answer.

Anybody know when the next "salvage" will take place and / or when fishing will no longer be allowed?
