anyone doing any good on the Mon? crushed em the last few times out.

    NICE ! I what part you fishing ? I go up calf. when i go on the mon. I may go tomorrow not sure .what you catching them on ?

    Mercury jet, & Tohotsu prop.  Lowes boat, ST. Croix poles Shimano reels .

    been using either small jigs like 2" or fatheads from the baitshop. theyre hitting both.

    ive caught some small ones this year which is a good sign for the future of the mon.... but nothing of any size..... been wanting one of those decent ones on a fly rod but have been havin trouble finding any

    What part are you fishing???  I fish the upper pool near point marion pa, mostly the mouth of the dunkard creek and i haven't had much luck this year.  I have caught some small bass and one night night catting i had small and large srikes all night on various baits, but only hooked a small one.  I usually have my best luck on the mon.
