Camo question

Do any of you guys like to wear camo while wade fishing ? I do all the time, more so this time of the year since the streams are usually lower and clear.
I know pellet heads are not that smart, but as time wears on they smarten up. Also I fish a spring fed lake for bass and panfish and the fish are pretty skittish in there due to the clear water.
I just like to break up my pattern with camo shirt, hat and pants etc..
Do you guys like to do this as well & do you think it matters that much or is it more on how you approach the water ?
Just interested in your thoughts.

I don't really wear camo (other than my waders being camo colored) when I fish.  I have however heard that the fish can pick out the bright colors in a silhouette.  The way I see it is hungry fish eat so I don't get all that concerned with it.

I'll second FishinGuy. I've noticed a difference when I make sure that I wear drab natural colors vs. colorful clothes when wading and shore fishing.

I wear camo or something darker in color. Always cracks me up when I see people fishing in the blaze orange rain coats or jackets.

Yeah, you see guys with their deer hunting coats on all the time in Erie.

I try to blend in with a camo shirt & hat.
My waders are both olive drag green so I think they blend it pretty good.
But I agree that moving slowly helps the most.
    Thanks for the input guys.

I wear my blaze orange all the time to fish when it's cold.  Honestly, I haven't noticed that much of a difference.  Then again I'm not fishing in just a few foot of water for steelhead or panfish when I'm doing it.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The closer we adhere to the Holy Bible and the US Constitution (as it was written) the closer we get to the model that made America great. The great American experiment worked, human nature just got in the way.

If you are fishing dries and a fish can see the color of your clothes, you're too close.I fish to true wilds, not small freestoners, and even when approaching from downstream have no shirt on and bright red shorts. Now, granted, if you're on the letort, go camo, otherwise, it's not needed.

esox, I'm in no mood for your normal bs.

I think you know I know the answer to that question, however, I, of course, deem a fish that has been in a stream for more than two years wild enough.

in reality, it's this site that is slow and boring..

someone cries about their back hurting, fisherlady jumps in with her "I'm sorry things get better, eriemako did this" crap... snookie might as well deem this place as her baby blog.

W.O bings a few others, this site is JUNK.  Look around... there is RARELY a post worth reading anymore.

IDC how many enemies come along, I'll troll this place and laugh my as$ off until, well, forever.

people from other sites even say, "I look at those boards for a laugh, nothing serious."

and don't even sit there and blame the "banned website" guys... they've been gone for periods and things sucked even more.

In reality why would you come to a site that doesn't offer you anything.  Seems pretty stupid to me...then again that might just be the mindset that you have.
