I caught one resident big girl last week in north east. I didnt think the migrating schools would move east until the water temps warm. From what I am hearing, it sounds like the lake temps are weeks behind.

Yes, that is nice. I suppose they are too far out in the lake now for shore fishing at night?

I am much less concerned about throwing too large of a plug now.

That is two 10 inch trout in it's belly plus one other mostly digested. He swallowed them whole.

Caught one last year with 9 smolts in her belly and she swallowed my size 18 Rap. amazing. Nice fish.

It isn't fair that the walleye get to keep the smolts... i buy my license every year and i don't even get to keep them. I'm calling the Fish Commission to complain, this is bull**** that the walleye don't have to catch and release my steelhead.

The meat fell right off the bone.
