What a night!
Me and two of my buddies were fishing the bayfront for crappies and had some pretty good success almost half a bucket full. We saw a very large fish approaching of course knowing me using 6 pound line I said what the heck I'll throw I few casts toward it with my white Mighty Bite. After 5 or 10 cast the fish grabs the bait after jigging for awhile. I never knew how big this fish really was. The fight started around 10:20 and end at 12:15 it took everyone ounce of strength I had after countless times bring the fish to the surface, thinking this fish finally gave in. At times I thought it was time to pull the plug and give in because it was never coming in. On a light crappie pole using 6 pound test I landed a 37 pound 9 ounce carp on very light tackle. This may not be a state record but it is my personal record to this point. Without a doubt this is the fish of my lifetime, and just looking into its eyes gave me so much more respect toward what type of fish lurk in Lake Erie, but also this fish. The only issue is I wanted a quick picture and quick release on this fish. However, the only place I could land it was on a small rock pile and the only was to grab it without it thrashing was under the gills. After trying to revive it the fish obviously would not make it. Therefore, I'm investing money to mount it. My legs still hurt for creeping down to land the fish and I still will always get the jitters from hooking it to landing this monster. This is what we all fish for

ORIGINAL: Mr.Slickfish Did you show up JUST to be a deek? duh....That's right...I shoulda known. Werd Slick Werd Figured I would respond in a way you could understand. But now lets be real, one day your all Jesus on us then the next your doing exactly what you claim I am doing. I don't play that card, Don't respond with I don't contribute here either, because I don't have to in any certain capacity, to read and post occasionally. There I saved you some trouble from having to write your usual response, every time somebody tells you how it is. By the way You seem a little old for the cool "Werd" and other lingo you use. Did you post "We don't worry bout dudes in dresses around here just to be a Deek towards mountain man? Uh, Thats right, you did. Werd Slick Werd
