Take PA turnpike to Irwin exit, take rt 30 west 1/4 mile to left on Barnes Lake Rd.  Go south approx 2.5 miles to stoplight, turn left on Clay Pike.  Lake is 1/4 mile on the right.

I'm liking 6/12 the best.  I'll edit original post to list who's going.

I'm not into putting that much effort or $$ into carp fishing. They're pretty well distributed and dense throughout the lake.

Count me in. It's real close to the house. I don't usually target carp but what the hell. They are fun to catch once in a while.

I've had a few folks PM me about a time.  I like fishing there 1st thing in the morning best.  I'm thinking a 7am start for myself.  Peeps can come and go as they wish.

IS this just a get together or pony up a couple bucks and biggest fish takes it?

Someone stocked a few koi in IL.  They look to be around 15" except one, it looks to be 24" or so.  Could make for some good 6/12 photos.

Tull....I saw them when I was out there 2 weeks ago. Everyone was trying to catch them and they wouldn't bite a thing.

    Was out at IL today.
The koi CAN be caught (although this one may be a hybrid).
The big one is orange and black - had him interested, but wouldn't bite. Also saw several "ghosties" - looked to have some black scales on them as well - possibly mirrors............probably saw @ 9 or so.

Once a year carper "The Hogg"pulled in a little brownie........
All together, we landed 1 koi, 1 brownie, 1 rainbow and 8 carp.
The carp were on the small side - the biggest may have been 8 lbs or so.
    Got hot this afternoon...................
