NW let down

... I can't believe there are more trout rising in the southwest part of the state than the usual meccas of the NW.  I cut the trip short after waking up from a 250 cfs to 2500 over night.  Hope you don't get any rain for the outing and the water clears up.

Even then, why the h aren't fish rising?  I caught my fair share subsurface, but like I told my Dad, it's mid-May... I've already been wet-wading for a week, I'm ready to put away the lead.  I even checked out the bridge of Drakes Well before the wash-out and saw fish pounding nymphs on the bottom but barely any risers.

    Ya...know what ya mean.
We need more warm sunny days.
These cloudy cool and rainy days sure aren,t helping.
