Arrive PIB on 5/20 have more questions

Booking my hotel and want a safe area of town to keep the boat in their parking lot. Any suggestions where I should be looking? Looking for a nicer hotel. My wife has been able to book the "popular name" hotels inexpensively through Priceline.com. I don't want to sound like I think Erie is unsafe but I've never been there.

    The worst areas of Erie are probably safer than the best areas of Pittsburgh.

    Every answer might conflict with the one before.
    No problems-and it is not mentioned
    Things go wrong and everyone hears about it.
