Nice! Looks like a good day... love the sucker, had to have been an adventure on the fly rod! We caught an 18" one on the upper Clarion last week, thought it was a catfish at first.
The little guy is something else... nice to see them in there though... future of the fishery!

    just a joke bings.
i gave up counting a long time ago. it's all about finding and fooling the trout, especially the ones that are hardest to get to or the worst conditions. sometimes clarity is more challenging than dark water..
even a day not catching too many trout still is time well spent in the outdoors with a good stogie

I need to start paying more attention when I'm out fishing.  I keep seeing all of these pictures of fly rods laying in tree branches.  Sometimes they even have cigars or bottles of whisky.  People must drop them in high water and then they become visible when the water recedes.  If I find one I could trade it in for a couple of nice spinning rods and some lures and bait.

hahaha....I don't know what it is but fly fisherman seem to take the most beautiful pictures.  Us spinning guys need to start doing the same and hold our own.

by the looks of it... you were fishing in a place that has a lot of Pine cones... near a confluence with a smaller trib?  I know that tree/bank.
