What a MESS!!!
Suddenly I found myself situated that I couldn't get out of the chair without stepping on something....... Tomorrow, forget the honey-do-list...... I gotta clean this up!!!!!!! Don't ask what the Armoral is for because I have no clue how it got there. %$#@ - the dog just brought me something in her mouth she found next to the desk  This is embarrassing.... but what the heck...

it is easly to make a mess like that mine was the same way but I took about 7 hours the day before we left for the big horn & got 2/3 of it cleaned up & put were it belongs & it takes time but being RETIRED I had the time so good luck with yours

Steely you have no idea how much you helped me and I'm sure a few others on here.......... I just called my wife in here to look at your Tying desk... Her response Was WOW I'll never yell at you for your area again............  Now If she holds to that I'll be set

when you get into a frenzy..........and get going strong........that is what happens......one fly to another.......one idea to another......before you know it, your desk is covered, your floor is covered........
but, like you said.......after a few days, you have to clean it up.......put everything where it belongs and start anew.........my kids just look at me and say: daddy, your desk is a mess--you better clean it up.......

Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

No worries, Steely. Mine looked just like that up until yesterday. Everything needed to tie stimulators, deceivers, trout streamers, and bass flies, all mixed up on one desk. Took some time yesterday to organize and I'm back to a reasonably clear workspace. I still have a bit more cleaning to do, but at least I can see the surface of the table. Also took the opportunity to reorganize some stuff based on how much of it I've used over the past year. Egg materials out, bucktails and zonkers in!

steely you need to hang some peg board or a sheet of duct tin than you can
get the magnetic hooks from wally world but they also sell inter locking plastic
peg board units or sets. really gets the organization going.ff46
