Shenango crappies

Shenango crappies

I haven't seen anything Goin on at the lake,anybody catching crappies?? Or maybe do u know the water temp.?? Thxs..

    Last friday the water temperature was 59. didnt fish though

    Save a horse, ride a Lund
     
    Friends don't let Friends fish for Trout (Stockies that is..)

    Water is 8' above normal pool.  All launches are closed except the one at the camp ground.  Can't fish from shore and the only way to fish it is from a boat.  I would think it would be  pretty hard to put together a pattern right now unless you can find a deep water pattern.  With so much water in places where there usually isn't any water would  make the shallow bite just about impossible to figure out.  With  the level of the lake and Pymie holding back water the near fishability of the lake is going to be in dought for quite a while.  Add the flooding that is going on down stream plus all the rain fall that is in the forecast and I figure somewhere about a 2-3 week period before the lake should be accessable.

    Was out last sat could not find the bass at all. Going to get higher as the week goes on.

    if we didnt have to hold all this water back the lake would be in ok shape

    Does anyone have an update on Shenango Lake conditions. Which docks are open Etc? Thinking of heading up Friday.

    lake 9 ft over summer pool. camp ground launch only one open. tuff fishin from shore  been out 4 times  cant get a pattern

    Caught some Thursday, 22.  Had to fish right under the trees laying out over the water.  About 9-11 feet down.  If you were 3 feet from the tree you couldn't get a bite.  Drop it right next to the tree and you caught fish.  Put them all back.  All came on a jig and 3 inch tail, didn't want the smaller tails.
