Manatawny Creek
welp, escaped for almost 2 hours........nobody else on the water with exception to the last 1/2 hour.....fish were rising....no bugs in the air, but a few floating by......too cold to get off the water.....
blups here and there........picked them off one by one
the first taker I had snapped me off.....very heavy stocker.....
a father / son team showed up right before dark and they were throwing spinners.......the young man landed a nice trout on an orange spinner.....
spent the last few minutes of daylight trying to get the young lad a fish on the fly.....had one strike and we missed it....
i put a pic on the website and the facebook page--can you tell what fly the fish were eating??
